Exercice 2 

a) Nombre choisi : 4
Le tripler : 4×3 = 12
Soustraire 4 : 12 - 4 = 8
Elever au carré : 8² = 64

Nombre choisi : 0
Le tripler : 0×6 = 0
Soustraire 4 : 0 - 4 = -4
Elever au carré : (-4)² = 16

Nombre choisi : -6
Le tripler : -6×3 = -18
Soustraire 4 : -18 - 4 = -22
Elever au carré : (-22)² = 484

b) Nombre choisi : x
Le tripler : 3x
Soustraire 4 : 3x - 4
Elever au carré : (3x - 4)²

c) (3x - 4)² = 0
3x - 4= 0 
3x = 4
x = 4/3
Il faut choisir 4/3 pour obtenir 0.

d) La solution n'est pas un nombre décimal car la division de 4 par 3 ne se termine pas.
